Emergency Treatment
Out of our normal working hours you can always access veterinary care. Most emergency calls will be answered by our own vet and you will be able to discuss the problem and arrange an appointment quickly. The vast majority of emergency cases are seen at the Mayfield surgery within half an hour of the initial call.
Sadly, it is impossible for one vet to cover all emergency calls 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Therefore, we also subscribe to a dedicated emergency service provided by Vetcall in Brighton. You can access this service on the small number of occasions when our vet is away for reasons such as further training and professional development.
