MayfieldVet is a friendly small animal veterinary practice located just off the High Street in Heathfield. We have changed a great deal since our first veterinary surgeon and director Samantha Coe opened the practice in Mayfield in 2008.
Over the years MayfieldVet has developed a great team and contributed to starting several vet nurses careers. We also enjoy training and developing the skills of veterinary students and recent graduates. The team at MayfieldVet know that your pet is a cherished member of your family and we work with you to ensure your pet has the best possible care. Over time so many of our clients have also become our friends and it is lovely to catch up with them and have a chat when they pop in to the practice.
Principal Veterinary Surgeon Samantha has been working as a vet for over 20 years. She has a great deal of experience and enjoys taking on the more complex medical and surgical cases. Samantha regularly takes part in further training and education so that she stays up to date with the most recent advances in veterinary practice.
Our focus is to provide the best possible service underpinned by our core principles: friendly, helpful, approachable staff; a flexible, open-minded and progressive approach to veterinary medicine, and services which are good value for money. We believe in a holistic approach to pet healthcare, which is why we also include many additional services such as behavioural therapy, holistic and herbal treatments as well as professional diagnostic, medical and surgical services.
We are located on the High Street in Heathfield, close to the Co-Op. Our building provides ground floor consulting and kenneling, surgical and dental facilities, an area for our grooming services, as well as offices and an area for nurse clinics and puppy parties upstairs!
Opening hours and on-site parking: There is plenty of parking (off-street) for clients and our opening hours are 8am to 7pm weekdays, 9am to 12 noon Saturdays.
