Welcome to MayfieldVet

Established in 2008, we are a thriving small animal veterinary practice in East Sussex. We offer a range of clinical services including conventional veterinary medicine and surgery, behavioural therapy, herbal veterinary medicine, homeopathy and physical therapies for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and small mammals.

New Heathfield branch opens

MayfieldVet Heathfield is now open at 84 High Street, Heathfield TN21 8JG. Telephone 01435 865 887. Our Heathfield opening hours are 8am to 7pm weekdays; 8am to noon Saturday.

Our new branch in Heathfield is now open! Our new practice is at the heart of Heathfield, close to the Co-Op. The building provides ground floor consulting and kenneling areas, surgical facilities and grooming.

About our new Heathfield practice

The renovation of the two-storey former storage building at 84 High Street took the best part of a year, completing in late August. We couldn’t wait to get up and running!

The new Heathfield practice has the benefit of much more space and equipment than at our Mayfield branch. Our focus remains on providing the best possible service underpinned by our core principles: friendly, helpful, approachable staff; a flexible, open-minded and progressive approach to veterinary medicine, and services which are good value for money. We believe in a holistic approach to pet healthcare, which is why we also include many additional services such as behavioural therapy, holistic and herbal treatments as well as professional diagnostic, medical and surgical services.

Our new building provides ground floor consulting and kenneling, surgical and dental facilities, an area for our grooming services, as well as offices and an area for nurse clinics and puppy parties upstairs!

Heathfield: Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 7.00pm. Saturday 9.00am to 12.00pm.
Mayfield: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9.00am to 2.30pm. Other times by arrangement.
